An Animal Alphabet Book Cover

An Animal Alphabet

A new children’s book, ages 2-5, hardcover, 8.75 x 11.25

This is the story of a guide at the local zoo.

He loved all the animals, knew just what to do.

And he was nice, nice, nice;

that’s why his parents named him twice.

William William knew all the animals by name.

That gave him a lot of fame.

Here is a story of his daily tour.

You’ll learn so much and that is for sure.

Amazing things, some just cannot be.

But they’re all true, honestly.

He is so amazing, done a lot;

said he’s heard a penguin sing.

An Animal Alphabet Book Guide

Welcome parents, teachers,

and children!

Don’t be scared by what you do not know.

We will take our time, from A to Z, and go very slow.

Did you know that an octopus has 3 hearts? How about that an elephant has 40,000 muscles in its trunk; or, that a herd of black rhinoceros is called a “crash”? Those little known facts, plus others, are in the Animal Alphabet book. You’ll find them inserted in a bit of poetry and an assortment of 26 animals and a few other things in this carefully researched, sometimes word-bending children’s/parents’ book. It is a significant cross-over departure from the usual ABC approach. The concept of the book is simple, give them something so they react, “I didn’t know that,” or with a smile and laugh-out-loud…or both.

“A witty, charming, and educational children’s book that will delight toddlers and pre-K readers as well as their parents!”

Meara Platt, USA Today bestselling historical romance author

“Charming and clever! It reminds me of the wonderful nursery rhymes my grandmother used to read to us when we were children. Just like them, your book is so full of magic and wit, definitely awakening any child’s curiosity and passion for learning.”

Prince Dimitri Jewelry, and author of Once Upon a Diamond:  A Family Tradition of Royal Jewels

“A delightful way for children to learn their ABC’s with interesting little known facts for adults.”

Jean Shafiroff, Philanthropist, Advocate, Host of television show Successful Philanthropy on LTV, and author of Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life by What You Give
